With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
As a part of the Google Cloud's Persistent Disk (PD) team, you will rapidly expand and look for engineers to solve complex distributed systems issues. As a vital component of Google Cloud, PD provides mission-critical block storage that powers every Google Compute Engine (GCE), Virtual Machine (VM), as well as higher-level services like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), CloudSQL, and Cloud Filestore. Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical leadership role with/without direct reports.
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- 4 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: storage, compute, networking, high-performance computing or internal tools and infrastructure management.
