This is a high-impact leadership role at the center of technical hiring strategy for a fast-scaling, product-driven organization. You will act as both a strategic partner and hands-on recruiter, owning end-to-end hiring for Engineering and Data while directly managing and developing a senior recruiter. The role blends execution with leadership, requiring someone who can operate in the details of recruiting while shaping broader talent strategy at the organizational level. You will partner closely with engineering and data leadership teams to define hiring needs, influence decision-making, and elevate hiring quality across all levels. This is an opportunity to build scalable, modern recruiting systems in a data-driven, AI-enabled environment. You will also help shape how emerging tools and AI can transform sourcing, evaluation, and hiring workflows. Accountabilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering and Data roles, from intake through offer acceptance, across a wide range of seniority levels.
- Act as a player-coach by directly managing and developing a Senior Recruiter while maintaining an active requisition load.
- Build and execute long-term hiring strategies and pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technical roles.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Data leadership to define hiring priorities, ensure alignment, and improve hiring outcomes.
- Use recruiting funnel metrics and hiring data to diagnose challenges, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
- Lead offer strategy and negotiations, advising stakeholders on market trends, compensation, and closing strategies.
- Contribute to the evolution of AI-enabled recruiting practices, identifying opportunities to improve sourcing, screening, and evaluation workflows.
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on Engineering and/or Data roles.
- At least 2+ years of experience managing recruiters, including coaching, performance management, and workload planning.
- Proven success partnering with senior technical leaders and influencing hiring strategy through data-driven insights.
- Strong expertise in structured interviewing methodologies and end-to-end recruiting process design.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and close senior technical talent in competitive markets.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using recruiting metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in recruiting workflows, with a clear perspective on where AI adds measurable value.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams.
