Barclays Services LLC seeks VP - Head of Valuations in New York, NY (multiple positions available):
Lead high impact data science projects from concept to deployment, leveraging advanced business analysis and modeling methodologies delivering broad impact across Barclay’s US bank customer segments. Serve as a key contributor in data aggregation, monitoring, reporting, and financial valuation to support strategic decision-making.
Design and implement customer cash flow valuation models and automated forecasting solutions using statistical, machine learning/AI and financial modeling techniques to inform growth strategies, marketing investment decisions, customer level profitability and enable personalization across partners and channels
Drive strategic decisions in product profitability, data modeling, and risk exposure by applying a deep understanding of business objectives, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Conduct in-depth analysis using historical performance data to evaluate current strategies and shape future initiatives. Leverage trend analysis, segmentation, and scenario modeling to identify opportunities and mitigate risk
Collaborate with senior leaders and partners across Finance, Marketing, Risk, and Analytics for accurate and reliable assessment of profitability projects
Provide technical and business leadership for acquisition investment optimization for Credit & Data Analytics (CDA) through data science.
Participate in overall project design, provide technical direction on key data science infrastructure decisions involving analytical toolkit, big data platform and cloud computing and delivery with QA other functional teams and end-clients.
Lead the development of executive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into account level and portfolio-level profitability. These tools enable senior leadership to make data-driven decisions for growth and improve customer engagement and profitability.
Provide leadership in defining model needs, model design, model development, validation, implementation and monitoring of valuation models.
Work closely with the technical disciplines of IVU, Model governance to ensure latest modeling methodologies are incorporated and to provide efficient documentation around the processes to ensure smooth auditability and controls.
Produce robust documentation to ensure replicability of results and fulfill Barclays governance requirements.
Supervise and directly manage the work of 1 AVP Credit Strategy, Valuations Airlines Valuation AVP, and Valuation Analyst, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration. Provide guidance on technical development, business acumen, and stakeholder communication.
May telecommute. Remote work anywhere in the United States is permitted.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $170,000 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $200,000 per year
