Business Finance Manager, Corporate
Job Mission:
To support the House’s growth and long-term performance, the Business Finance Manager acts as a strategic finance co-pilot at market level, combining forward-looking analytics, business insight, and strong governance.
The role goes beyond consolidating performance to shape the market financial narrative, connect insights across divisions and functions, and contribute to informed, data-driven decision making. Leveraging digital tools, automation, and AI, the role ensures efficient, scalable, and high-quality financial processes, enabling a focus on value creation rather than manual reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Market FP&A & Performance Steering
- Lead consolidation of market financials across divisions and corporate functions (budget, forecasts, strategic plans)
- Own the market performance narrative, integrating financial and business insights into coherent analysis
- Deliver forward-looking analysis, scenarios, and risk/opportunity assessments to support decision making
- Drive monthly performance cadence, variance analysis, and alignment across stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, quality, and relevance of KPIs, reporting frameworks, and planning assumptions
Finance Business Partner – Corporate Functions
- Act as finance partner to corporate functions (TDS, P&O, Supply Chain, Communications, Legal & Regulatory)
- Provide financial insight, guidance, and recommendations on costs, structure, and efficiency
- Support decision making through business cases, scenario analysis, and performance tracking
- Ensure alignment between functional strategies and overall market financial objectives
Planning, Governance & Process Excellence
- Lead and continuously improve planning processes (Budget, Forecast, LE, MTP) with focus on speed, accuracy, and simplicity
- Strengthen governance through robust frameworks, assumptions, and cross-functional alignment
- Ensure harmonization across divisions, functions, and regional expectations
Digital, Systems & Transformation
- Drive adoption of finance systems, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual work and enhance insight generation
- Act as a finance systems and data champion, leveraging tools to improve efficiency and scalability
- Lead or contribute to finance and business transformation initiatives
Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Lead or support cross-functional business and finance projects at market level
- Build robust business cases with scenario modeling and post-investment reviews
- Contribute to shaping business models, operational frameworks, and governance
Role Specifications:
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration with major in Finance, Accounting, Management Systems, or Economics, or Quantitative Finance
- Thorough knowledge of accounting / financial concepts and principles
Work Experience
- Minimum 8-10 years working experience, inclusive of 3-5 years of managerial experience
- Solid experience in the FMCG, retail industry, manufacturing, or Fragrance & Beauty / Fashion / Watches & Fine Jewelry industry
- Some experience of doing business in multinational / APAC environment would be ideal
