Bilingual Investment Specialist-Mutual Funds BMO Investment Centre

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Investment Specialist – Mutual Funds (BMO Investment Centre) based in Canada.

This remote client-facing investment role offers the opportunity to support Canadians in achieving their financial goals through trusted advice and high-quality service.
You will engage directly with clients in an inbound contact center environment, helping them navigate mutual funds, term investments, and account onboarding processes.
The position blends sales, advisory support, and customer education, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships and delivering personalized financial solutions.
You will stay current on market trends and investment products to provide informed, compliant, and relevant guidance.
The role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from home while serving clients across Canada.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide inbound investment support to clients by delivering guidance on mutual funds, term investments, and general wealth products.
  • Assist clients with account onboarding, transactions, and updates while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assess client needs, goals, and financial situations to recommend appropriate investment solutions and service options.
  • Build trust-based client relationships through clear communication, active listening, and consistent follow-up.
  • Stay informed on market trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes to support high-quality investment advice.
  • Ensure all interactions and recommendations align with approved policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing high call volumes in a fast-paced contact centre environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client inquiries and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Requirements:

    • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or customer-facing advisory roles.
    • Completion of IFIC or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required.
    • Strong understanding of mutual funds, investment products, and financial markets.
    • Knowledge of Canadian financial regulations and industry compliance standards.
    • Excellent communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism required).
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset and ability to build trust quickly.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and perform in a high-volume, fast-paced remote environment.
    • Strong problem-solving, active listening, and analytical skills.
    • Comfortable working independently from home while maintaining strong team collaboration.
    • Resilient, adaptable, and motivated to continuously learn and improve in a dynamic financial environment.
