FP&A / Finance Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an FP&A / Finance Partner based in Spain.

This role sits at the heart of financial decision-making, acting as a key bridge between data, strategy, and business performance. You will play a critical role in shaping budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning while delivering high-quality insights that support executive decisions. Working closely with operations, accounting, and commercial teams, you will help translate complex financial data into clear recommendations that drive efficiency and growth. The environment is highly analytical and collaborative, with strong exposure to manufacturing and cost structures. You will also contribute to improving financial processes, reporting quality, and business visibility across functions. This is a hands-on role combining financial modelling, performance analysis, and strategic business partnering in a fast-paced international context.

Accountabilities:

You will own and enhance the financial planning, analysis, and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate visibility into business performance and future trends. Acting as a trusted finance partner, you will support leadership with actionable insights, drive cost transparency—especially within manufacturing—and help strengthen overall financial discipline across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
  • Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and deliver insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives
  • Monitor budget performance, investigate variances (particularly in manufacturing costs), and recommend corrective actions
  • Perform in-depth financial and investment analysis to evaluate projects, initiatives, and business cases
  • Produce high-quality financial reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools for management and stakeholders
  • Analyze manufacturing cost structures, including labor, materials, and overhead, identifying opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate closely with operations, accounting, sales, and other teams to ensure data accuracy and business alignment
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic deep-dives for senior leadership
  • Monitor market, economic, and industry trends to anticipate financial impacts and risks
  • Requirements

    This role requires a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, combined with excellent analytical capability and the ability to partner effectively across functions. You should be comfortable working with complex datasets, financial systems, and manufacturing cost structures, while communicating insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

    • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar finance role
    • Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and cost structures (manufacturing experience is a plus)
    • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into business insights
    • Proficiency in financial tools and systems such as Hyperion, Essbase, Workday, or similar platforms
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience building clear and concise management reporting
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a business partnering mindset
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and structured thinking
    • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
    • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus)
