This role is a critical finance leadership position responsible for overseeing and strengthening the full spectrum of financial operations across a growing, multi-entity organization. You will take ownership of accounting, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls while ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will provide actionable financial insights that guide strategic decisions and support sustainable business growth. The role requires a balance of hands-on execution and strategic thinking, with a strong focus on process improvement and scalability. You will play a key part in shaping financial governance and enabling business expansion in a fast-evolving environment. This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in autonomy and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in line with applicable accounting standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, including variance analysis and performance tracking against business goals.
  • Provide financial insights, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and executive leadership planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies across multiple entities.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, financial processes, and governance frameworks to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and banking relationships to support financial stability and operational needs.
  • Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and ERP utilization to increase efficiency and scalability of financial operations.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Partner with business leaders to support financial accountability, operational planning, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Requirements:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.
    • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including senior leadership or controller-level responsibilities.
    • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance management.
    • Strong expertise in managing month-end/year-end close processes, payroll, taxation, and statutory compliance.
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
    • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
    • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
    • Experience in technology, consulting, professional services, or multi-entity organizations is an advantage.
