As a Finance Business Partner, you will be part of a Finance team that plays a critical role in enabling this mission — serving as a trusted adviser to division leads and senior leaders, combining financial rigour with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive sound decision-making across the organisation.
[What you will be working on]
Lead the end-to-end financial planning and performance management cycle for one or more major divisions or programmes, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in alignment with the planning cycle;
Partner with division leads and senior leaders to evaluate business cases, assess financial sustainability, and provide resource allocation guidance; conduct scenario analysis and translate complex financial data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels;
Work with programme teams to monitor project expenditure, track milestones, and proactively flag financial risks; and provide guidance to users on financial matters;
Identify and drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls within assigned divisions, including leading cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives;
Execute month/year-end closing activities, perform budget allocations and virements, and analyse variances and operational metrics to surface actionable insights;
Prepare revenue/expense accruals and grant recovery as well as to ensure compliance with accounting standards and government financial regulations.
Undertake any other duties and projects as assigned to support the Finance team and broader organisational objectives.
[What we are looking for]
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent), and at least 5 years of relevant finance experience with a demonstrated track record in finance business partnering
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly and concisely; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of dashboarding tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence non-finance stakeholders effectively
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex organisation
