Senior Full-Stack Engineer, App Platform

As a Senior Full-stack Engineer on our App Platform team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled individuals, ensuring the development, maintenance and oversight of our AI platform, Front-end platform and other developer experience solutions, as well as supporting experience teams by creating innovative solutions.
What you’ll do @Omnisend:
Play a key role in platform and product development decisions.
Improve and build features for the platforms, ensuring seamless functionality, scalability, and user-friendliness.
Identify and resolve intricate technical obstacles affecting functionality, user experience, or system performance of the platforms.
Ensure optimal platform health by implementing and managing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
Identify areas for improvement within the platform and suggest creative ideas to enhance functionality, maintainability, or developer experience.
Follow established coding standards .
Contribute to the team's knowledge base by documenting best practices and lessons learned for efficient platform development.
We expect that you’ll bring:
Hands-on experience (5+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems.
Strong skills in system design and architecture are essential.
Proven ability to drive technical decisions end-to-end - from identifying gaps in internal or customer-facing tooling to shipping solutions with measurable impact.
Keen interest and/or experience in building AI tooling and agent-based systems.
Thorough understanding of core front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular).
Comprehensive knowledge of TypeScript.
Understanding of frontend build tools.
Knowledge of browser APIs, web performance optimization techniques, and accessibility best practices.
Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Go) to handle server-side logic and API interactions.
Proficiency in database concepts (SQL/NoSQL) and experience working with APIs or data fetching mechanisms.
Expertise in using Git for version control, maintaining code history, and collaborating on platform development.
Experience with writing unit and integration tests and familiarity with debugging tools to identify and fix issues effectively.
Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools.
Experience with real time distributed messaging tools and event based architecture.
Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services).
