Support customer sustainability for batteries, chargers & power supply that designed for highly-sophisticated two way communication products used in professional & mission critical markets of the commercial, government & industrial segments


Job Description

  • Involved in product development, product maintenance and sustainability. Focus on customer and factory issue support for product continuity, field solution and revenue mitigation
  • Support E2E customer issues and root cause analysis
  • Prepare failure analysis that meets customer requirements & expectations, design, process & safety guidelines.
  • Support products transfer activities. Ensure the correct bill of materials (BOM), Work Instruction, Control plan, Test procedure and station, Agency Certification, and other manufacturing documents are  reviewed and in place for site qualification.
  • Perform verification test per product specifications and writing test reports
  • Drive for continuous cost reduction and improvement 
  • Perform electrical tolerance analysis and DFMEA
  • Perform electrical verification test per product specifications and writing test reports
  • Releasing electrical prints and parts qualification reports.
  • Evaluates complex components and develops the necessary test procedures and fixtures to ensure compliance with the functional specifications.
  • Participates in the testing and evaluations of complex designs to ensure compliance with the functional requirements. Detailed analysis of the results will be reviewed with a higher-level engineer or supervisor. The incumbent is expected to develop the necessary instrumentation skills and learn the standards that are relative to the designs.


Basic Requirements

  • >5 years of experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related disciplines (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong understanding of electronic design principles, including schematic design and circuit analysis.
  • Experience with battery and charger design and testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • You are a problem solver with a passion for learning and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
  • Good in analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to communicate & present conceptual ideas to technical audiences.
  • Familiar with battery cell charging and discharging characteristics and design requirements.
  • Any prior experience in handling product qualification for Hazardous Location Certification, such as ATEX, TIA, INMETRO, MSHA, CSA or UL, are highly preferable.
  • Familiar with design guidelines of electrical commodity
  • Familiar with digital signal communication like I2C, etc.
  • Basic knowledge in manufacturing & assembly process & application of design for manufacturing & assembly.
  • Familiar with schematic & layout design will be an added advantage. Able to troubleshoot digital design, familiar with RF technology, review schematic and layout.
  • Familiar with six sigma methodology or green belt/black certified will be added advantage
