- Manages monthly APAC closing activities and preparing related journal entries and reconciliations.
- Be the first point of contact for supporting end-to-end accounting and indirect tax activities within APAC countries.
- Prepares monthly financial reports for stakeholders and analyze business performance on a regular basis.
- Liaising with internal/external auditors and external consultants for various audit and compliance process.
- Provides financial information and reports for regional operational and business review on a quarterly basis.
- Assist in technical accounting for the region with focus on policies and local filing requirements.
- Manages potential risks in all areas of accounting and compliance and act as a trusted business advisors to the business.
- Continuous improvement in all related areas including financial and compliance processes.
- Support ad-hoc assignments related to all areas of accounting and indirect tax.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with more than 5 years working experience preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Passionate in bringing transformation to the accounting activities and drive continuous process improvements in all related areas.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners whom are mainly based in India.
- Flexible to work on India time zone when required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact clearly across all level of organization.
- Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conceptualize.
- Diligent, attention to detail, ability to manage time and work flow, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
- Strong accounting and indirect tax knowledge is preferred.
