This role offers the opportunity to work at the center of highly sophisticated private client tax advisory, supporting ultra-high net worth individuals, families, and closely held entities.
You will manage complex tax compliance and planning engagements while delivering strategic guidance across multi-generational wealth structures.
The position combines technical excellence with client-facing advisory work, requiring both analytical depth and strong relationship-building skills.
You will collaborate closely with senior partners to design innovative tax strategies involving investments, equity compensation, estates, and charitable structures.
A key aspect of the role includes reviewing and overseeing complex tax returns while mentoring and developing junior team members.
You will contribute to a high-performing, knowledge-driven tax practice that serves clients connected to dynamic industries such as venture capital and technology.

Accountabilities:
- Review complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, and private foundation tax returns involving areas such as equity compensation, venture investments, QSBS, and carried interest.
- Provide strategic tax planning advice related to wealth preservation, estate structuring, charitable giving, and multi-generational wealth transfer.
- Identify and manage multi-state and international tax compliance requirements and filings.
- Oversee tax compliance engagements while ensuring accuracy, technical excellence, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Mentor, train, and supervise associates and senior staff, supporting their professional development and performance growth.
- Collaborate with partners to develop client solutions, proposals, and innovative service offerings.
- Stay current on evolving tax regulations and apply updates to client strategies and internal best practices.
- Contribute to internal initiatives including process improvements, technology adoption, and practice development efforts.
- 6–10 years of experience in public accounting taxation, focused on ultra-high net worth individuals and private client services.
- Active CPA license required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field (JD or LLM a plus).
- Strong expertise in complex tax areas including partnerships, estates, trusts, equity compensation, and investment structures.
- Proven ability to manage and review high-complexity tax returns and advisory engagements.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide tax professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building trusted client relationships.
- Strong technical proficiency in tax research tools, platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for client service excellence.
