As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in supporting timely diagnosis and treatment by ensuring accurate specimen collection, testing, and documentation. You’ll work alongside a collaborative care team to provide safe, high-quality laboratory services that strengthen access to care in communities where healthcare resources may be limited. Your attention to detail and compassionate approach help create a positive experience for every patient we serve.

- Collect and process blood and urine specimens in accordance with CLIA and OSHA standards
- Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, heel sticks, and butterfly collections across the lifespan (pediatric through geriatric patients)
- Verify patient information, accurately document in NextGen, and clearly explain procedures to patients
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and transportation of specimens
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Monitor laboratory supplies and coordinate ordering as needed
- Perform quality control procedures and basic equipment maintenance
- Collaborate effectively with providers and care team members to support quality patient care
- Maintain required logs, documentation, and MSDS records
- Perform other duties as assigned
High School/GED required
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least two (2) years’ experience required
• Ability to draw blood on pediatric through geriatric patients
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
• Certified Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certificate required
• Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in phlebotomy in lieu of certificate
