Job Description & Summary:  

PwC's Advisory practice works with the world's leading global custodians, asset servicers, and asset managers to implement front-to-back investment management and order management platforms. This Business Analyst role focuses on the capital markets domain – covering front-office trading, order management, compliance, derivatives, and trade lifecycle through to settlement. 

We are looking for individuals with experience working within or alongside Global Capability Centers (GCCs) of major financial institutions – particularly those that have supported OMS/EMS implementations, trading operations, derivatives processing, or front-office technology programs.  

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Front Office / Order Management Domain: 

- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for order management system (OMS) implementations covering order generation, execution, allocation, compliance, and portfolio management 

- Define requirements for workflow design – new account/sleeve setup, automated global order routing by asset class and region, new debt issuance workflows (shell security setup, interest solicitation alerts, portfolio manager order sizing, security enrichment, trade execution) 

- Analyze and document compliance rule requirements – interpreting regulatory and investment mandate rulesets, analyzing data requirements, and supporting pre-trade and post-trade compliance rule implementation 

- Support FIX onboarding and integration requirements – leveraging understanding of FIX protocol for broker connectivity and electronic trading 

Trade Lifecycle & Settlement: 

- Document end-to-end trade lifecycle requirements from order generation through settlement – covering equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives (OTC & listed), and complex instruments 

- Define requirements for settlement-matching logic, enriched data mapping for triparty integrations, and exception tagging aligned with institutional settlement models 

- Support requirements for T+1 settlement readiness and related platform transformation initiatives 

Integration & Operating Model Design: 

- Define data integration requirements between front-office OMS and downstream middle/back-office systems (accounting, reconciliation, data platforms) 

- Document interface specifications for system-to-system integrations across the front-to-back chain 

- Support Future State Operating Model (FSOM) design and documentation for front-office service transitions 

- Develop Service Level Documentation defining service scope, KPIs, SLAs, and operational processes 

Derivatives & Complex Instruments: 

- Analyze requirements for OTC derivatives processing – collateral, margin, and settlement workflows 

- Document requirements for bank loan processing, structured credit instruments, and complex instrument handling 

- Support requirements for UMR compliance – initial margin, variation margin, SIMM calculations
