Lawyer – Crime & Social Justice
Are you a driven lawyer looking to make a real impact through your work? Join our team as a Lawyer specialising in crime, where your role will directly support access to justice and fairness within the legal system.
You’ll manage a varied and meaningful caseload across the full criminal process—from police investigations and interviews through to Magistrates’ and Crown Court proceedings, including Post Incident Procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cases that contribute to social justice and protect individuals’ rights.
- Running cases end-to-end, building strong, well-prepared defences
- Advising and supporting clients at often challenging times, both in person and remotely
- Representing clients at police stations, hearings, and court proceedings
- Collaborating with experts and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes
- Keeping up to date with criminal law, procedure, and best practice
- A qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ criminal case handling experience
- Confidence working independently and meeting deadlines
- Police Station Accreditation
- Knowledge of criminal procedures across Police Station, Magistrates’ and Crown Court
- Familiarity with systems such as CJSM, DCS and Common Platform
- Strong communication, analytical and advocacy skills
