Programmatic Media Strategist (DV360 Focus)

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

 

Our client is a performance-driven digital marketing agency managing high-impact media campaigns across a range of enterprise clients. They specialize in delivering data-driven advertising strategies across programmatic, paid social, and multi-channel digital ecosystems. As they continue expanding their programmatic capabilities for a major finance client, they are seeking a Programmatic Media Strategist with deep expertise in DV360 to lead campaign execution and support internal best practices.

Role Overview

The Programmatic Media Strategist will be responsible for leading the setup, execution, optimization, and governance of programmatic advertising campaigns with DV360 serving as the primary platform. The Programmatic Media Strategist will act as the agency's internal subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance, supporting campaign trafficking, improving workflows, and helping internal teams strengthen their programmatic capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with advanced DV360 expertise who enjoys combining hands-on execution with strategic leadership.

Fully Remote | 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Programmatic Advertising (DV360)

  • Own the setup, structure, execution, and optimization of DV360 campaigns.

  • Develop audience targeting strategies and campaign architecture.

  • Configure campaign trafficking, tagging, and measurement.

  • Monitor pacing, delivery, frequency, and campaign performance.

  • Troubleshoot existing DV360 implementations and optimize workflows.

  • Recommend programmatic best practices and optimization strategies.

Ad Trafficking & Cross-Channel Support

  • Support ad trafficking across paid social platforms when required.

  • Maintain consistent campaign setup standards across channels.

  • Assist with cross-channel execution and campaign alignment.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support campaign delivery.

Strategy & Internal Enablement

  • Develop documentation, recommendations, and implementation guides.

  • Serve as the internal expert for DV360 strategy and execution.

  • Translate complex programmatic concepts into actionable recommendations.

  • Support internal training and knowledge sharing across the agency.

Qualifications Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media or programmatic advertising.

  • Strong hands-on experience with DV360 (required).

  • Experience managing display, video, and Connected TV (CTV) campaigns.

  • Agency or in-house media team experience preferred.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.

  • Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale digital advertising campaigns.

Qualifications Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency with DV360.

  • Strong understanding of audience strategy and programmatic buying.

  • Experience building campaign structures and optimization frameworks.

  • Strong analytical and campaign performance interpretation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to create clear technical documentation and recommendations.

  • Experience with Meta Ads.

  • Experience with Reddit Ads.

  • Experience with Spotify Ads.

  • Experience with Connected TV (CTV) advertising platforms.

  • Familiarity with attribution, measurement, and reporting frameworks.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • DV360 campaigns are accurately structured, optimized, and efficiently managed.

  • Internal teams receive expert guidance on programmatic execution.

  • Documentation and implementation recommendations improve campaign quality.

  • Campaign performance improves through better optimization and targeting.
