Job Description

Visa Brazil is seeking a CRM Director – Vai de Visa, based in São Paulo, to lead the transformation and scale of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and CRM strategy, with a strong focus on consumer engagement, loyalty, and monetization.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and executing the CRM vision for Vai de Visa, accelerating 1st party data growth, consumer lifecycle management, and digital platform performance, while positioning Visa Brazil as a market leader in consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth:

  • Define and lead the CRM and DTC strategy for Vai de Visa in Brazil, aligned with global and regional frameworks.
  • Own and drive consumer engagement strategy, with clear impact on transactional growth, revenue, and loyalty.
  • Position Vai de Visa as a best-in-class loyalty and engagement ecosystem in the market.
  • Identify and scale new consumer value propositions, use cases, and monetization opportunities leveraging 1st party data.

Consumer Lifecycle & Personalization:

  • Lead the design and execution of end-to-end consumer lifecycle strategies (acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, reactivation).
  • Oversee advanced segmentation, personalization, and decisioning frameworks, including multi-channel orchestration.
  • Define communication strategies (channels, frequency, sequencing) with a data-driven approach.

CRM Platforms, Data & Performance:

  • Own CRM platforms and capabilities, ensuring best-in-class data utilization, campaign management, and automation.
  • Drive the growth and quality of Visa’s 1st party data assets, including opt-in strategy and governance.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and OKRs, ensuring continuous optimization and ROI impact.
  • Lead testing, experimentation (A/B, multivariate), and scaling of best practices across initiatives.

Digital Platforms & Experience (Vai de Visa):

  • Own the performance and optimization of Vai de Visa platforms (web/app), ensuring a best-in-class user experience and conversion funnel.
  • Partner with Technology, Product, and UX teams to define and implement consumer-centric digital experiences.
  • Drive continuous improvements in SEO, content strategy, and site performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Act as a senior leader and integrator across Marketing, Product, Technology, Data, and External Partners.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across Brazil, LAC, and Global teams.
  • Partner closely with internal teams and agencies to deliver integrated, scalable marketing initiatives.

Team Leadership & Capability Building:

  • Build and lead a high-performing CRM and DTC team, fostering innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Develop internal capabilities in data-driven marketing, lifecycle management, and personalization.
  • Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert internally and externally.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in CRM, digital marketing, or consumer engagement, with proven business impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership experience in building and scaling CRM/DTC strategies in complex organizations.
  • Proven track record driving revenue growth, loyalty, and consumer engagement at scale.
  • Deep expertise in:
    • CRM platforms (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce, or equivalent)
    • 1st party data strategy and monetization
    • Lifecycle marketing and personalization
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystem, UX, and e-commerce dynamics.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
