Reports To
Senior Director - International Marketing & Strategy
What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is building its marketing engine in Europe from the ground up. As the first dedicated marketing hire in the region, you will work closely with the European sales team to generate pipeline, execute events, and lay the foundation for a high-impact marketing function in a fast-growing market.
This is a hands-on execution role where you will own delivery end-to-end. Rather than creating strategy for others to execute, you will be directly responsible for bringing campaigns to life—whether that’s booking venues, running webinars, building email sequences, or measuring results. Reporting to the Sr. Director of International Marketing, you will serve as the primary marketing operator in Europe with the opportunity to shape ChargePoint’s presence across the region and build a team over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing field marketing programs across Europe, including trade shows, customer events, roundtables, partner events, and roadshows
- Running regional webinars and digital events end-to-end (topic development, speaker coordination, promotion, and follow-up)
- Partnering directly with the European sales team to support account-level marketing efforts that help open opportunities and accelerate deals
- Localizing and adapting global campaigns, content, and messaging for European markets using AI tools to scale across languages efficiently
- Building and managing regional email campaigns, landing pages, and nurture programs in collaboration with demand generation teams
- Managing relationships with local event organizers, media contacts, and agency partners
- Owning the European marketing calendar and aligning with global teams on launches, announcements, and campaigns
- Tracking and reporting on campaign performance, event ROI, and pipeline contribution to demonstrate impact and drive further investment
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Proven B2B field marketing experience within European markets, including hands-on ownership of events, vendors, and campaigns
- Fluency in English plus at least one additional major European language (e.g., German, French, or similar)
- Comfort operating as a team of one in a startup-like environment, with strong resourcefulness and self-direction
- A collaborative, results-driven approach to working with sales teams, with a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue goals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, events, and stakeholders across regions
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe to support field marketing activities
- A builder mindset with enthusiasm for creating processes, programs, and ultimately a team from the ground up
Requirements
- Hands-on experience executing marketing programs across multiple European markets
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with sales to drive pipeline and measurable business outcomes
- Proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate marketing execution (e.g., content creation, translation, campaign analysis, event planning)
- Experience managing end-to-end campaign execution including events, webinars, email, and digital programs
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across international stakeholders and time zones
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment without an established regional marketing infrastructure
