This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager based in United Kingdom.

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the company's digital marketing strategy and execution, driving awareness, engagement, and subscriber growth across multiple online channels. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead end-to-end campaigns, optimize digital performance, and identify new growth opportunities through data-driven decision-making. Working within a remote-first environment, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product messaging into impactful marketing initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, analytical, and passionate about creating authentic marketing experiences for technically sophisticated audiences.

Accountabilities

  • Own and optimize the performance of key digital channels, including website, SEO, email marketing, paid media, and social platforms, with a focus on reach, conversion, and customer growth.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept through post-campaign analysis, aligning initiatives with product launches and commercial priorities.
  • Develop and enhance organic search strategies through content planning and on-site SEO improvements to increase long-term visibility and reduce dependency on paid acquisition.
  • Manage email marketing programs, including lifecycle campaigns, product updates, customer engagement, and reactivation initiatives while monitoring key performance metrics.
  • Oversee paid media budgets, continuously optimizing spend and return on investment across digital advertising channels.
  • Monitor marketing performance through dashboards and analytics, providing regular insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to create compelling channel-specific messaging and creative assets that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build and strengthen engagement across relevant online communities while exploring new growth opportunities through partnerships, affiliate programs, referrals, and influencer collaborations.
  • Requirements

    • Proven experience managing digital marketing channels, including SEO, email marketing, paid search/social, and content marketing, with direct ownership of performance metrics.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards, interpreting marketing funnels, and making data-driven optimization decisions.
    • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for technically knowledgeable audiences.
    • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize initiatives, and execute marketing strategies with minimal supervision.
    • Strong commercial mindset with experience managing budgets and optimizing marketing investments based on measurable outcomes.
    • Familiarity with community-focused marketing and the ability to build authentic engagement across online platforms.
    • Collaborative approach with experience working effectively in cross-functional, remote-first environments.
    • Experience marketing technical, developer-focused, or open-source products is considered an advantage, as is familiarity with the smart home ecosystem.
    • Benefits

      • Full-time remote position with flexible working hours and an asynchronous work culture.
      • Competitive compensation aligned with local market rates and experience.
      • Annual performance-based bonus.
      • Minimum of five weeks of paid vacation.
      • Paid sick leave where not fully covered by local regulations.
      • Paid parental leave package.
      • Home office hardware budget with equipment ownership after three years.
      • Annual smart home equipment allowance.
      • Annual professional development and education budget.
      • 50% reimbursement of home internet expenses.
