Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Monetisation
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. It’s a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate, focus, and connect.
This role is based in Sydney, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely, and to come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Leading the transition from standalone upsell campaigns to a fully automated upsell program powered by next-best-action personalisation
- Helping establish an "AI Launch Engine" — a repeatable workflow for getting new AI products into our evergreen adoption programs fast
- Launching a new mid-funnel series to drive awareness of Canva workflow tools including App Integrations and AI Pass
- Briefing creative teams on next-gen upsell templates and owning the end-to-end campaign build
- Migrating content from Braze Catalogs into Canva's internal tech systems (CMS and Personalisation Profile Service)
- Running experiments, measuring results, and using the data to keep improving
- Coaching team members and helping them do their best work
You're probably a match if
- You have 5+ years of lifecycle marketing experience and know how to use owned channels (email, push, in-app) to drive real revenue outcomes
- You've built and optimised multi-channel campaigns at scale and are comfortable getting hands-on in the tools — Braze experience is a big plus
- You're data-driven: you can derive insights from campaign data and use them to shape what happens next
- You've owned a messaging calendar and a project backlog before, and you know how to keep things moving across multiple stakeholder priorities
- You have a track record of running testing frameworks and actually applying what you learn
- You've worked with a global, diverse user base and know how to create programs that travel well across markets
- You're a clear communicator — comfortable giving direction to creative teams, reporting progress upward, and mentoring people around you
