Get to Know the Team

You'll be joining the Grab Creative Studio team in Vietnam, a group of writers, art directors, and creative producers. The team collaborates with Grab's Marketing department, striving to deliver compelling and thoughtful work across the brand's businesses and products. Together, you'll be creating impactful marketing communications that resonate with Grab users.

Get to Know the Role

As an Art Director for Grab Creative Studio, you'll lead the conceptualization and execution of marketing communications for Grab Vietnam. You are expected to blend creativity, cultural insight, and technical precision, bringing ideas to fruition with skillfulness and purpose.

You will report to the Art Director and work onsite at Mapletree Business Centre.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will:

  • Conceptualize campaigns and creative solutions that align with Grab's goals.
  • Develop visual storytelling assets for social media platforms, digital banners, EDMs, and advertising materials with cultural relevance.
  • AI-Driven Prototyping & Production: Integrate generative AI tools into your daily workflow to rapidly prototype concepts, expand asset variations, and drastically reduce production turnaround times.
  • Brand Stewardship: Maintain, evolve, and police our corporate brand identity across various departments.
  • Provide creative direction while collaborating with copywriters and creative producers to meet project requirements.
  • Stay up to date with latest cultural and digital trends to inform and evolve creative outputs.
  • Apply the principles of digital advertising to all creative assets, ensuring compatibility and effectiveness for various digital platforms.
  • Work collaboratively within the creative studio team and marketing partners to ensure understanding.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of experience in the design/creative industry

1. Elite Execution & Brand Design DNA

  • Mastery of the Craft: Advanced expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy. You have a proven track record in brand designing where your technical execution was pivotal to success.
  • Software Power-User: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • The "Doer" Mindset: A strong portfolio demonstrating that you don’t just direct others—you build the final, polished assets yourself.

2. AI & Workflow Efficiency

  • AI Co-Pilot Proficiency: Solid, practical capability in using generative AI tools for image generation, asset expansion, and workflow optimization. You know how to write precise prompts and integrate AI outputs seamlessly into professional-grade design files.
  • Speed & Agility: The ability to leverage technology to pivot quickly, meet tight corporate deadlines, and scale creative output without sacrificing quality.

3. Art Direction & Soft Skills

  • Commercial Art Sense: A strong aesthetic eye that understands how to make corporate communication look premium, engaging, and contemporary, rather than rigid or dry.
  • Corporate Fluency: Sufficient communication skills in English and Vietnamese. You can explain your creative decisions to business stakeholders in a language they understand (ROI, brand alignment, audience engagement).
  • Self-Management: The maturity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an in-house environment with minimal supervision.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio detailing your scope of work and specific contributions is required for this position. Please attach it along with your resume.
