You will define and evolve the Android architecture that supports fast, secure, and highly reliable decision-making workflows used by thousands of enterprise customers worldwide. The role combines deep hands-on Android expertise with strategic platform ownership across mobile systems. You will influence how mobile products are built, tested, released, and scaled across complex environments including multiple device types and enterprise constraints. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help translate complex product requirements into robust native Android solutions. This is a role for an engineer who thrives on technical depth, architectural clarity, and long-term platform thinking.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and evolve the Android platform architecture, defining modular structures, engineering standards, and scalable native patterns that ensure high performance, security, and long-term maintainability of mobile experiences.
  • Lead end-to-end Android system design, translating complex product and technical requirements into resilient, production-grade mobile solutions grounded in modern Android best practices.
  • Improve delivery reliability by shaping testing strategies, release processes, observability, automation, and AI-supported validation frameworks for mobile engineering.
  • Define and maintain mobile system contracts in collaboration with backend, iOS, product, and design teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and strong cross-platform alignment.
  • Elevate engineering quality across teams by introducing reusable patterns, technical standards, and stronger architectural decision-making practices.
  • Requirements:

    • Extensive experience in modern Android development with a proven track record of owning architecture or leading platform-level mobile initiatives in production environments.
    • Strong understanding of mobile system design, including API contracts, backend interactions, and cross-platform architectural trade-offs.
    • Ability to contribute to and debug backend systems when required to resolve mobile-facing technical challenges.
    • Experience improving release reliability, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and production observability for mobile applications.
    • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices, including their application in testing, validation, or mobile development workflows.
    • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear product and engineering decisions.
    • Experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards that improve team-wide execution and consistency.
    • Nice to have: experience with enterprise mobile environments, device diversity (foldables, wearables), or mobile design systems.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary package aligned with senior-level expertise
      • Flexible hybrid or remote-friendly working arrangements depending on team setup
      • Comprehensive health and wellness coverage
      • Opportunity to work on high-scale, AI-driven mobile products with global enterprise impact
