This Week in Fintech is seeking a highly organized, creative, and entrepreneurial Senior Events & Experiences Manager to help build and scale one of the most influential fintech communities in the world.
This is not a traditional events role. We are looking for someone who understands how experiences create brand value, strengthen relationships, drive partnerships, and build lasting community. You’ll lead the strategy and execution behind TWIF’s growing portfolio of experiences — from intimate executive dinners and private salons to large-scale conferences, ecosystem gatherings, and strategic partner activations. You’ll work directly with leadership and become a key part of shaping how TWIF shows up across fintech, startups, venture capital, and media.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of TWIF flagship events, conferences, executive dinners, community gatherings, and sponsored experiences from concept through onsite execution.
Partner with leadership to develop event strategies, programming concepts, and experience formats that strengthen TWIF’s brand, audience growth, and ecosystem influence.
Build and manage relationships with venues, vendors, sponsors, speakers, VIP attendees, ecosystem partners, and community members.
Coordinate sponsor deliverables and partner integrations to ensure high-quality execution and long-term relationship growth.
Manage production timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, vendor coordination, travel logistics, attendee communications, and onsite operations.
Help cultivate meaningful relationships across the fintech, startup, investor, and operator ecosystem through thoughtful hospitality and curated experiences.
Develop systems, playbooks, and repeatable processes that allow TWIF’s events platform to scale without compromising quality or experience.
Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in events, experiential marketing, hospitality, media, startups, fintech, or community programming.
Proven ability to manage high-touch experiences involving founders, executives, investors, sponsors, and VIP audiences.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to execute independently in fast-paced environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
Strong eye for audience experience, hospitality, branding, and event design.
Our mission at Plaid is to unlock financial freedom for everyone. To support that mission, we seek to build a diverse team of driven individuals who care deeply about making the financial ecosystem more equitable. We recognize that strong qualifications can come from both prior work experiences and lived experiences. We encourage you to apply to a role even if your experience doesn't fully match the job description. We are always looking for team members that will bring something unique to Plaid!
