Sr. Product Operations Specialist | Acorns
Acorns is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and highly organized Product Operations Specialist to work closely with our Head of Product. In this high-impact role, you will drive operational excellence, elevate our cross-functional delivery frameworks, and scale the tools that empower our product organization to build world-class financial wellness solutions. You are a fast learner who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic foresight with absolute precision in execution.
Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely while providing optional access to office space in Irvine, CA.
What you will do at Acorns:
Operations Leadership: Partner directly with the Head of Product to optimize organization efficiency, streamline internal workflows, support team leaders, and project-manage critical product operations initiatives.
Strategic Architecture & Roadmap Planning: Build and evolve the frameworks, tooling, and ways of working used for long-range strategic planning, roadmap prioritization and capacity planning. Own the administration and data integrity of the company’s unified roadmap, mapping product outcomes directly to business and financial metrics.
Delivery Integration & Continuous Improvement: Connect delivery planning across all functional teams (design, engineering, analytics, marketing, legal, support, etc.) to ensure seamless cross-organizational alignment, while continuously tracking execution to identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Executive Reporting & Routines: Lead core product operating routines, including the end-to-end orchestration, data aggregation, and materials preparation for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and executive reporting.
Vendor & Budget Management: Manage the operational budget for product teams, including third-party service and software contracts.
What you will bring to Acorns:
Jira & JPD Mastery: Expert-level, hands-on experience architecture-building within Jira and Jira Product Discovery (JPD), with a proven track record of creating custom views, automations, workflows, and executive-level reports.
AI-Driven Workflows: Demonstrated proficiency using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to design, build, and optimize automated reporting and internal operational productivity tools.
Financial & Operational Literacy: Clear experience managing technology vendor relationships, tracking software budgets, and navigating corporate contract pipelines.
Cross-Functional Partnerships: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to collaborate, communicate direction clearly, and bring fun to a highly collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Project Management Expertise: Strong foundational project management skills, with a proven ability to organize complex timelines, manage risk and dependencies, and coordinate communication across teams.

Compensation Information:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $155,000 and $168,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including equity grants, and discretionary cash bonus awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
