Order Management and Fulfillment Specialist

Job Summary:
The Order Management and Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order lifecycle, including processing, coordinating, and fulfilling customer orders. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize order management processes. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Accurately input and process customer orders in the system, ensuring all details are correct and compliant with company policies.
  • Order Fulfillment Coordination: Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and delivery confirmations for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve order discrepancies, delays, or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline order management and fulfillment processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on order metrics, fulfillment rates, and customer feedback to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in order management, fulfillment coordination, or customer service.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Oracle, or other order management systems.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with order management systems and tools.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
