Job Roster

Initially this will be a Perth based role working a Monday to Friday roster.

As the project progresses the roster will transition to a 4/3, 8/6 roster with more time being spent on site.

At Genesis Minerals, we’re shaping the next chapter of Australian gold. As Project Manager – EPC, you’ll take ownership of the Tower Hill Process Plant—driving delivery from contract award through to commissioning, ramp-up and operational handover. Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Technical Services, this role sits at the centre of our growth strategy.

You’ll lead the Owner’s team and hold the EPC contractor to account—ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest technical and operational standards.

The Opportunity

You’ll define and execute the strategy for successful project delivery—balancing governance, pace and precision across every phase of the lifecycle. From engineering and procurement through to construction, commissioning and performance testing, your leadership will ensure Tower Hill transitions seamlessly into a high-performing operation.

This role offers a dynamic work environment across our Perth corporate office and site, with increased site presence during critical construction and commissioning phases.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Safety & Environment

• Champion safety as a non-negotiable priority across all project activities
• Ensure EPC contractor alignment to critical controls, hazard management and SHE standards
• Embed environmental compliance across construction and commissioning

Project Leadership & Governance

• Establish and lead the Owner’s team, delivery structure and governance rhythms
• Develop and execute the Project Execution Plan aligned to the approved business case
• Drive clear reporting, decision-making and executive engagement

EPC Contract & Performance Management

• Lead contract administration, claims, variations and performance governance
• Hold the contractor accountable for milestones, guarantees and delivery outcomes
• Drive performance through structured KPIs, reviews and escalation where needed

Scope, Change & Technical Integrity

• Maintain strict scope control and enforce disciplined change management
• Ensure plant design and delivery meets throughput, recovery and quality targets
• Lead key reviews including HAZOP/HAZID, constructability and operability

Schedule, Cost & Project Controls

• Own the integrated schedule and critical path
• Oversee forecasting, EV reporting and productivity tracking
• Provide transparent, accurate reporting to stakeholders

Procurement & Delivery Risk

• Manage long-lead items, vendor performance and supply chain risks
• Ensure procurement aligns with schedule and execution strategy

Construction & Interfaces

• Oversee construction planning, mobilisation and execution
• Manage brownfield interfaces, shutdowns and tie-ins with minimal disruption
• Ensure QA/QC standards are embedded and upheld

Commissioning, Ramp-Up & Handover

• Lead commissioning strategy from mechanical completion through performance testing
• Ensure readiness across training, documentation, spares and maintenance systems
• Deliver a controlled ramp-up to steady-state operations

Stakeholder & Risk Management

• Build strong relationships across corporate, site and external stakeholders
• Maintain and actively manage the project risk register
• Navigate complex interfaces with regulators, contractors and internal teams

About You

You’re a delivery-focused leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments. You bring structure, discipline and clarity—while still moving at pace.

• 10–15+ years delivering major capital projects in mining/resources
• Proven experience leading EPC/EPCM process plant delivery (gold highly regarded)
• Deep capability across contract management, project controls and risk
• Strong track record in commissioning, ramp-up and performance testing
• Experienced in brownfield execution and managing operational interfaces
• Tertiary Engineering qualification (preferred) and/or significant equivalent experience
• Confident leading multi-disciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders
