Office Manager

CynGn · Mountain View, CA

About Cyngn
Based in Mountain View, CA, Cyngn is a publicly-traded autonomous technology company. We deploy self-driving industrial vehicles — specifically autonomous tuggers —  to factories, warehouses, and other facilities throughout North America. To build this emergent technology, we are looking for innovative, motivated, and experienced leaders to join us and move this field forward. If you like to build, tinker, and create with a team of trusted and passionate colleagues, then Cyngn is the place for you. Key reasons to join Cyngn:

We are Small and Big.
With under 100 employees, Cyngn operates with the energy of a startup. On the other hand, we’re publicly traded. This means our employees not only work in close-knit teams with mentorship from company leaders—they also get access to the liquidity of our publicly-traded equity.

We Build Today and Deploy Tomorrow.
Our autonomous vehicles aren’t just test concepts—they’re deployed to real clients right now. That means your work will have a tangible, visible impact.

We aren’t robots. We just build them.
We’re a welcoming, diverse team of sharp thinkers and kind humans. Collaboration and trust drive our creative environment. At Cyngn, everyone’s perspective matters—and that’s what powers our innovation.

About this role:
This is a hands-on, onsite role at our Mountain View headquarters. As Office Manager, you are the steady force that keeps the office running and the team supported. This is an early-start role for someone with high energy who takes pride in being the ultimate support staff member—a doer who keeps things moving day-to-day rather than focusing on high-level strategy. You'll set the tone each morning, anticipate the office's needs before anyone has to ask, and make sure people walk into an organized, ready space.

Responsibilities

  • Office Operations: Manage day-to-day office functions, including supply inventory, mail, office cleaning and organization, and vendor relationships.

  • Facility Management: Coordinate with building management to address facility-related issues and ensure a safe, clean, and functional workspace.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and document preparation across departments.

  • Event Coordination: Book and coordinate company events, meetings, and team-building activities, handling logistics to execution.

  • Employee Experience: Support a positive people experience, contribute to a workplace where employees feel welcomed and supported.

  • Communication: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring information flows smoothly across the organization.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgement.

  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in office management or administrative roles, preferably in a tech or startup environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).

  • A natural doer who takes ownership and is accountable for seeing work through to completion.

  • Takes initiative without being asked—notices when something is undone, unclean, or out of order and acts on it.

  • Prepared and enjoys starting the day organized and ready.

  • Brings professional maturity and good judgment, supporting the team wherever needed.

  • Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information.

  • Approachable and people-first, with high energy and a genuine interest in supporting others.

  • Dependable and consistent—the kind of person the team knows they can count on.

  • Comfortable with an early-start, full-time on-site schedule.

  • Operations pay context

Based on 4,484 disclosed Operations salaries on RoleSuite, the role pays a median of $110K/year, with most offers between $83K and $145K (10th–90th percentile: $65K–$185K).
