Come join our Productivity Solutions Division (PSD) PMCoE as a Portfolio and Project Manager. This role will be responsible for accelerating delivery of complex capabilities and programs across the organisation.

We are looking for a personable, strategic, creative problem solver who can influence stakeholders across the organization, lead high-visibility portfolio alignment and governance.

Success in this position requires expertise in managing a unified software portfolio for PSD. This position offers the opportunity to work with VP/GM and PSD Staff and multiple functions to oversee and coordinate a portfolio of software initiatives to enable the outcomes support the strategic goals, business objectives and division growth. This position reports directly to the Director of PMCoE.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Quarterly Portfolio Management with PSD Leadership and Functional Managers on unified software roadmap prioritization and any changes requiring incremental funding or trade-off

  • Facilitate Ongoing, In-Year Prioritization for small incremental changes 

  • Lead monthly cross-functional prioritization meetings to evaluate priority of projects and proposals within the portfolio, and assess resource capacity and capacity planning to allow early identification of resource constraints and potential budget trade-offs.

  • Ensure roadmap governance standards are adhered to including aggregate capacity & demand forecasting across portfolio

  • Assess new requests and intake decisions using the DVF framework

  • Lead Operational Alignment sessions with cross functional leaders

  • Mission teams and pods are empowered to reprioritize within their scope, supported by a standard DVF (Desirability, Viability, Feasibility) framework to enable consistent decision making

  • Create Portfolio and Project dashboards for visibility

  • Facilitate portfolio and project review meetings, including working with VP/GM & Staff and Project Leaders to set agenda, lead the meetings and engage to ensure decisions are documented and actions are gathered and addressed.Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support implementation of meaningful improvement for portfolio management, and drive change management

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a regulated industry, with a focus on portfolio management for complex, technology-driven programs, including strong expertise in roadmap governance, execution, and cross-functional partnership

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration (MBA); PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred

  • Familiarity with prioritization frameworks (e.g., Desirability, Viability, Feasibility [DVF])

  • Proven ability to lead through influence rather than authority, and to navigate complex environments while driving organizational change

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to translate complex program goals into clear, executive-level summaries while also engaging in detailed discussions as needed

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries to drive optimal outcomes

  • Experience with portfolio/project management and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Planview, Asana, Smartsheet, Jira)

  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, prioritization, and change management capabilities across cross-business unit (x-BU) teams and leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; highly adaptable, proactive, and results-oriented problem solver

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $116,800.00 - $219,000.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
