This role sits at the intersection of security, compliance, and customer trust, acting as a key advisor in how enterprise customers evaluate and adopt cloud solutions. You will lead high-impact engagements focused on security assurance, regulatory alignment, and risk mitigation across complex environments. The position plays a critical role in shaping how trust is built and maintained with global customers in highly regulated industries. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, sales, and legal to translate security requirements into scalable solutions. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. It offers the opportunity to influence product direction while directly supporting customer success and adoption. Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end customer trust and assurance engagements, including security questionnaires, audits, contract negotiations, and compliance discussions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers on security, privacy, resilience, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Partner with product, engineering, and security teams to design and improve scalable trust frameworks and solutions.
- Drive external-facing communications that clearly articulate security posture and compliance readiness.
- Coach and enable internal sales and technical teams on customer security expectations and requirements.
- Contribute to the development of internal programs that scale customer trust and assurance capabilities.
- Stay current on global regulatory trends and emerging security frameworks impacting cloud adoption.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or related domains.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles within cloud providers, SaaS companies, or consulting environments.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CSA, HITRUST, or similar standards.
- Hands-on experience managing complex customer security engagements from scoping through completion.
- Broad architectural knowledge across identity, access management, data protection, network security, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with digital sovereignty and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CIPP are a strong advantage.
