Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide superior and efficient pharmacy patient care.
Apply full scope of practice as a pharmacy technician in Manitoba.
Practice in compliance with federal, provincial, and professional regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other health professionals to ensure accurate prescription medication preparation, distribution and patient care.
Ensure patient safety by engaging in quality assurance programs.
Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow.
Manage accurate dispensary data, documentation, and inventory.
Manage and perform compliance packaging and compounding of pharmaceutical products.
Manage third party billing submissions and reconciliation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Registered Pharmacy Technician in Manitoba in good standing.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and efficiency skills.
Strong critical thinking abilities and a dependable work ethic.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software is an asset.
