Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide superior and efficient pharmacy patient care.
  • Apply full scope of practice as a pharmacy technician in Manitoba.
  • Practice in compliance with federal, provincial, and professional regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other health professionals to ensure accurate prescription medication preparation, distribution and patient care.
  • Ensure patient safety by engaging in quality assurance programs.
  • Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow.
  • Manage accurate dispensary data, documentation, and inventory.
  • Manage and perform compliance packaging and compounding of pharmaceutical products.
  • Manage third party billing submissions and reconciliation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in Manitoba in good standing.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and efficiency skills.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and a dependable work ethic.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software is an asset.
