Job Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager, DevSecOps to lead the strategy, roadmap, and adoption of security capabilities embedded directly into our engineering ecosystem. This is not a policy-writing or governance role. It is a product role focused on making security scalable, automated, developer-friendly, and measurable.

You will partner closely with Engineering teams to turn security controls into products and services engineers actually want to use. Your mission is to reduce friction, increase secure-by-default adoption, and move security left across the software delivery lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that modern security succeeds through platforms, automation, APIs, workflows, and great internal user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Product & Feature Ownership: Own the roadmap and lifecycle for one or more DevSecOps product areas (e.g., CI/CD security, code scanning, cloud security, secrets management, container security)

  • Voice of the User: Work directly with developers, SREs, platform teams, and business stakeholders to identify friction points and translate them into product requirements

  • Engineering Partnership: Partner daily with Engineering and Program Management to manage backlogs, prioritize delivery, and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and adopted

  • Automation First Mindset: Drive security controls that are API-driven, self-service, and embedded into developer workflows

  • Metric Tracking: Define and track KPIs such as adoption, coverage, remediation speed, reliability, and reduction of manual effort

  • Product Communications: Communicate roadmap progress, releases, and business impact to stakeholders and leadership

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven years in Product Management, Platform Product Management, or Technical Product Management within engineering-heavy environments

  • Domain Depth: Strong understanding of DevSecOps, SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native platforms, and modern security practices

  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with developers and understanding APIs, automation, developer tooling, and engineering trade-offs

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
