In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will own a significant piece of the product, driving new features from early discovery through launch. You will partner directly with an Android engineering team in Singapore, while collaborating with our global teams, to drive Wallet and Google Pay forward. You will build real, tangible improvements to how people set up and use their everyday essentials.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 2 years of experience developing or launching features on consumer applications.
- 2 years of mobile product development, specifically within the Android ecosystem.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building, shipping, and iterating on global consumer products with massive scale.
- Domain knowledge or previous experience in mobile payments, digital wallets, identity, or fintech.
- Ability to navigate and troubleshoot complex infrastructure within large-scale technical ecosystems.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones and international offices.
- A track record of taking complex, ambiguous problem spaces and translating them into clear, actionable roadmaps.
