Senior Product Manager, Workspace Monetization

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

We are the Google Workspace (GWS) Commerce team. The GWS Commerce team (part of the GWS Monetization team) generates all Google Workspace subscriptions including our GenAI offerings, a critical business need for Workspace, Cloud and Google as a whole. Our mission is to drive business growth by helping customers discover, adopt and embrace Workspace.

You will work on product led growth initiatives that tend to have a large impact and which are key priorities for the Google Workspace leadership team. This role offers a chance to work on some of the key efforts to generate Google Workspace GenAI offerings.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within software as a service (SaaS) or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in driving growth for SaaS businesses by implementing the product-led-growth techniques.
  • Experience in subscription management and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience collaborating on projects involving multiple teams, managing an ongoing relationship with clients, and presenting to audiences.
  • Experience working on products where user acquisition, expansion, conversion were all driven primarily by the product itself.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity influence, along with excellent negotiation, communication skills.
