At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.
40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.
We’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.
We’re growing fast: Our community of 114 million registered users and 261,000 active partners across 21 countries, have together already prevented 517+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 1.397.000 tonnes of CO2e!
Your mission
With our current scale and impact on the problem of food waste, it is vitally important that we continue to create a product that consumers love and a product that brings strong and ever-increasing value to our partners. As a Senior Product Manager in our consumer product org, you will be at the heart of that.
You will join a Product Organisation working closely with the product managers, data/insight analysts and product/UX designers responsible for driving product development on the complete Too Good To Go product portfolio.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a meaningful product area within the Too Good To Go consumer experience and help shape products that deliver value for users, partners, and the business. We believe a strong fit for this role will require: (a) exceptional stakeholder management skills and a proven track record of rallying a broad range of stakeholders around a significant product or feature launch, (b) clarity of thought and the ability to simplify complex multifaceted challenges into a clear product direction, and (c) ability, interest and a proven track record of delivering zero-to-one products that require first-principle problem-solving in a customer-obsessed and inventive way.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and prioritising high-impact product opportunities that improve the Too Good To Go consumer experience and help us scale our marketplace.
- Defining clear product strategies, roadmaps, success metrics, and OKRs for your product area, balancing long-term direction with pragmatic short-term delivery.
- Leading product discovery to deeply understand user needs, partner needs, business opportunities, and operational constraints.
- Turning complex, ambiguous problems into clear product direction, crisp requirements, and well-structured decisions for your team and stakeholders.
- Working closely with design, engineering, analytics, research, marketing, operations, customer care, and local market teams to take ideas from insight to launch and iteration.
- Using data, customer research, market insight, experimentation, and stakeholder input to make product decisions and identify new opportunities.
- Communicating product progress, performance, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Building strong alignment around product priorities, especially where decisions require balancing customer experience, marketplace dynamics, operational feasibility, and business impact.
- Continuously improving how your product area operates, including rituals, decision-making, documentation, stakeholder communication, and roadmap transparency.
- Contributing to the broader Product organisation by sharing learnings, raising the quality of product thinking, and helping us build better ways of working as we scale.
Required qualifications
We are looking for an experienced product manager who combines strong product judgment, structured thinking, customer obsession, and the ability to lead through influence.
You likely have:
- Multi-year experience in product management, ideally in a consumer-facing digital product, marketplace, e-commerce, platform, subscription, mobile app, or other technology-led environment.
- A track record of owning meaningful product areas and delivering measurable customer, business, or marketplace impact.
- Strong product strategy skills, with the ability to define a clear direction, make thoughtful trade-offs, and connect product work to company goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to simplify ambiguous and multifaceted challenges into clear opportunities, decisions, and execution plans.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with product metrics, funnels, experiments, user behaviour, customer feedback, and business KPIs.
- Experience working closely with designers, engineers, analysts, and researchers in modern product development environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and challenge senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Technical fluency, with the ability to understand technical trade-offs, collaborate effectively with engineering teams, and make pragmatic product decisions.
- Customer focus, with hands-on experience using qualitative and quantitative insight to understand customer needs and improve product experiences.
- A bias for action, high ownership, and the ability to create momentum in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to make complex topics simple and compelling.
- A collaborative, energising working style and the ability to mobilise a team around a clear product vision.
Optional qualifications
- Experience working in or adjacent to marketplaces, food, retail, logistics, payments, customer experience, growth, personalisation, or platform products.
- Experience working across multiple countries, languages, cultures, or market conditions.
- Experience in a high-growth scale-up or similarly fast-moving technology company.
- Experience with consumer mobile apps and experimentation.
- MBA or other business education, though this is not required.
