Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You actively engage in planning and integrating various components across the application lifecycle to ensure seamless operation. Your role includes continuous testing activities focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression, while also developing automation strategies and scripts. You support configuration of data and environments, participate in code reviews, and track defects to foster ongoing improvements in testing processes, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and implement testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes and increase efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and security testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with code review processes and defect tracking tools to maintain high-quality standards.
- Capability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development and product teams.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in testing complex systems and business flows
- Full understanding of SDLC, QA, and Defect Lifecycle
- Experience with test data identification and creation
- Exposure to test management tools such as JIRA and Quality Centre
- Automation experience using various tools like Selenium
- Strong programming experience in Java and VBScript
- Experience in building automation frameworks
- Good understanding of performance testing
- Working experience with various CI tools like GITLAB

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
