As a Web Solutions Engineer, you will leverage the full software development life-cycle to help the Business Intelligence Group enable a more data-driven/predictive Global Affairs (GA) organization. You will partner directly with stakeholders, distill loosely defined business problems into scalable software solutions as GenAI is poised to make a significant impact in Global Affairs, whether building long-lived production platforms or prototyping temporary applications, navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment to develop web applications that directly drive cross-GA strategic initiatives and enable AI-driven business decisions at scale.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $128000 - $185000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience developing full-stack applications integrated with enterprise IT infrastructures (e.g., enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), or legacy databases) and managing technical projects.
  • Experience with back-end languages (e.g., Python or Java).
  • Experience with front-end languages (e.g., TypeScript or JavaScript).
  • Experience developing applications used within law firms, in-house legal/compliance departments, within government, or related industry experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in troubleshooting live, high-traffic applications during critical operations.
  • Experience connecting agent applications to enterprise knowledge bases and enhancing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Experience using AI technologies to augment, improve, or automate the development process.
  • Ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a dynamic environment and to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
