The Impact of a Senior Solution Advisor at Coupa:
 
As a Senior Solution Advisor, you will accelerate Coupa’s European growth by transforming complex spend data into high-impact, persuasive stories for clients. Fluent in German and English, you will bridge the gap between business challenges and technical execution, designing software demonstrations that prove clear financial value. Your technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration will empower Account Executives to close larger SaaS deals faster, acting as a strategic catalyst that directly drives enterprise adoption and optimizes customer operating margins. 

What You'll Do:

  • Provide technical expertise, competitive differentiation, and strategic advice throughout the sales process.
  • Combine solution configuration, visual aids and persuasive storytelling to deliver compelling demonstrations of how Coupa’s solutions will drive measurable business value and ensure customer success.
  • Support the development of RFP responses and other sales collateral such as presentations, documents, and videos.
  • Learn and maintain current knowledge of how to configure and use Coupa’s unified suite of spend management applications.
  • Be a subject matter expert who can provide valuable sales insights and/or solution expertise to account executives, solutions consulting colleagues and others.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to help increase the pace and size of sales transactions and adoption of Coupa solutions as we scale to address our market opportunity.
  • Improve execution and address problems by taking ownership and exhibiting a bias for action with solution-oriented thinking.
  • The position is based remotely however may require travel to prospects, customers and a local Coupa office.
  • What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience supporting the sales or implementation of enterprise Software as a Service for business functions such as financial accounting, customer management or sales automation.
  • Fluent in Business German and English, further languages is a plus
  • Experience with one Business Spend Management application or solution is desirable including eProcurement, eSourcing, Invoice Automation, Contract Management, Expense Management, Payment Automation, or Treasury Management.
  • Experience with more than one of these applications is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including conceptualizing slide designs (PPT or Google Docs), persuasive storytelling and showmanship is a plus
  • Previous consulting experience with any of the following applications is a solid predictor of success: SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Ariba, Ivalua, GEP, Jaggaer et. al
  • Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and passionate environment.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required.
