Senior Wireless Solutions Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Wireless Solutions Engineer based in United States.
This specialized technical pre-sales role focuses on designing and delivering advanced wireless connectivity solutions across cellular and emerging satellite technologies. The position serves as a subject matter expert in 4G, 5G NSA/SA, IoT, MVNO, eSIM, and LEO satellite networks, translating complex wireless requirements into scalable enterprise-grade architectures. It plays a key role in shaping customer solutions that integrate seamlessly into SD-WAN, WAN backup, and edge connectivity strategies. The role is highly customer-facing, combining deep technical expertise with solution storytelling and consultative engineering. Working closely with sales, architecture, and delivery teams, it ensures wireless designs are accurate, commercially viable, and operationally sound. This is a hands-on individual contributor position at the intersection of wireless innovation and enterprise networking.
Accountabilities:
- Lead technical discovery and pre-sales engineering for wireless and cellular-attached opportunities, identifying requirements across coverage, performance, and deployment constraints.
- Design end-to-end wireless solutions across 4G/5G, LTE, IoT, MVNO, eSIM, LEO satellite, and hybrid WAN architectures.
- Define and document architecture components including CPE selection, APN configuration, routing design, failover strategies, and carrier integration requirements.
- Produce BOMs, SOW inputs, and technical documentation to support deployment, provisioning, and service activation teams.
- Develop repeatable wireless solution frameworks and reference architectures for use cases such as SD-WAN backup, OOBM, IoT connectivity, and mobile workforce deployments.
- Collaborate with Field CTO, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure technical alignment, opportunity qualification, and solution accuracy.
- Support complex deployments by acting as the technical bridge between pre-sales design and implementation teams.
- 5+ years of experience in wireless, cellular networking, or enterprise connectivity engineering roles, ideally in pre-sales or solution architecture.
- Strong expertise in 4G LTE, 5G NSA/SA, IoT connectivity, MVNO environments, eSIM technologies, and wireless WAN design.
- Deep understanding of RF concepts, signal propagation, carrier networks, and global cellular infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CPE platforms such as Peplink, Cradlepoint, Teltonika, or similar multi-WAN devices.
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, WAN failover, bonding, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity architectures.
- Familiarity with LEO satellite platforms (e.g., Starlink, OneWeb) and emerging wireless technologies including microwave backhaul.
- Ability to design and document technical architectures, including APN configurations, routing models, and RF optimization considerations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex wireless concepts into clear, customer-facing solutions.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and industry standards.
- Fully remote work flexibility within the United States.
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless, satellite, and enterprise networking technologies.
- High-impact customer-facing role with ownership across solution design and pre-sales strategy.
- Collaborative environment working closely with senior engineering and sales leadership.
