Regional Sales Manager (Western US)

This leadership role is focused on driving regional revenue growth while building, coaching, and scaling a high-performing sales team across the Western United States.
You will oversee a distributed group of Account Managers, guiding their performance through structured coaching, strategic planning, and hands-on field engagement.
The role combines remote leadership with extensive travel, ensuring strong customer relationships and consistent market presence across the region.
You will play a key role in expanding the sales organization, helping grow the team while shaping long-term go-to-market strategy.
This is a high-impact position that directly influences regional performance, customer acquisition, and overall business expansion.
You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align execution with broader organizational growth objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of Account Managers across the Western United States.
  • Drive regional sales performance by setting clear activity expectations, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring revenue targets are consistently achieved.
  • Build and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular field engagement activities including customer visits, ride-alongs, pipeline reviews, and performance coaching sessions.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop new sales professionals as the region scales and expands.
  • Partner with recruiting and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM documentation to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze sales performance trends and implement corrective action plans to improve results and productivity.
  • Support key customer presentations, negotiations, and strategic account development initiatives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 5+ years of sales management experience within the staffing industry.
    • Proven track record of leading, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales teams.
    • Strong experience in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining sales professionals.
    • Deep understanding of staffing sales cycles, business development, and customer relationship management.
    • Experience managing remote or geographically dispersed sales teams.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales metrics and implement performance improvements.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities with a results-driven mindset.
    • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with equivalent industry experience.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across the Western United States.
    • Benefits:

      • Base salary range: $100,000 – $125,000 per year (depending on experience).
