This is a high-impact strategic advisory role at the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and executive leadership. You will act as a trusted advisor to Tech CEOs of small and midsize cybersecurity providers, helping them navigate complex market shifts, competitive pressures, and technology disruptions. The role combines deep domain expertise with executive-level business insight, enabling you to shape growth strategies and innovation roadmaps. You will produce forward-looking research and actionable frameworks that influence how leaders build and scale cybersecurity businesses. A strong external-facing component involves direct engagement with CEOs through advisory sessions, conferences, and executive briefings. You will also contribute to global research agendas and thought leadership that shape industry direction. This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the cybersecurity and AI ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

Lead the development of high-impact research and strategic insights focused on cybersecurity, AI in security, and growth strategies for small and midsize technology providers.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Tech CEOs through direct engagements, including executive briefings, conferences, and advisory sessions.
  • Analyze cybersecurity market trends such as AI-driven security, cloud security, zero trust architectures, and evolving threat landscapes.
  • Develop actionable frameworks and best practices to support executive decision-making in scaling, product innovation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Deliver compelling thought leadership content, presentations, and research outputs for global audiences and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal research peers to shape insights, influence agendas, and strengthen cybersecurity coverage.
  • Translate complex technical and market dynamics into clear, executive-ready guidance and recommendations.
  • Support strategic discussions on business transformation, competitive positioning, and operational scaling for cybersecurity vendors.
  • Requirements:

    Extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership, with strong exposure to strategic advisory, executive roles, or senior positions within cybersecurity providers.

    • 12+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, ideally including work with small or mid-sized technology vendors.
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders confidently.
    • Deep expertise in cybersecurity domains such as cloud security, threat intelligence, compliance, and modern security architectures.
    • Strong analytical, research, and synthesis skills with the ability to build structured frameworks from complex data.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with experience delivering thought leadership content.
    • Strong business and financial acumen with understanding of competitive market dynamics.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating across global, matrixed, and multicultural teams.
    • Experience speaking at industry events or executive-level forums is highly desirable.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
