Key Responsibilities 

As a Workday Procure to Pay (P2P) Senior Analyst, your primary responsibilities may include: 

  • Assist with the implementation of Workday Procurement modules, including sourcing, contract lifecycle management, procurement, supplier accounts, procurement contracts and expenses.

  • Support requirements gathering, process documentation, configuration activities, testing and deployment tasks under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Develop understanding of finance and procurement processes to support business process analysis and Workday solution delivery.

  • Prepare documentation, meeting outputs and project artefacts to support client workshops and delivery activities.

  • Assist with Workday configuration, prototypes and demonstrations to support functional design discussions.

  • Apply Workday and Accenture delivery methodologies across assigned tasks and project deliverables.

  • Support data migration, reporting, integrations and change management activities as directed by project leads.

  • Collaborate with functional, technical, testing and change teams to progress assigned workstream activities.

  • Assist with issue investigation, system testing, defect resolution and post-implementation support activities.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, capability building and client-facing materials as required.

Job Qualifications

Here’s what you need: 

  • 1–3 years of experience with Workday Financials, Procurement or related ERP/procurement systems, either as a customer, implementation partner or consultant.

  • Foundational understanding of procurement and procure-to-pay business processes.

  • Exposure to Workday configuration, security, testing or reporting activities.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with stakeholders and team members to understand business needs and support practical Workday solutions.

  • Interest in obtaining Workday Procure to Pay certification and developing deeper Workday capability.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingnesss to work onsite 4 days per week

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% if required.

Preferred Qualifications and experience

  • Workday certification in Financials, Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Experience supporting Workday or ERP implementation activities, preferably in a consulting environment.

  • Exposure to integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, banking, CRM or procurement platforms.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, project coordination or testing frameworks.

  • Exposure to industries such as Government, Health, Financial Services or Higher Education.

Bonus points if:

  • Exposure to financial business processes such as PTP, OTC, GL, FA, Budgeting or Cash Management.

  • Experience contributing to Workday, ERP or cloud-based transformation projects.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced consulting environment.

  • Exposure to other cloud-based SaaS financial or procurement applications such as Coupa, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft or Ariba.

  • A degree or relevant qualification in finance, business, technology or a related discipline.

Mandatory Requirements

As the resource will be accessing sensitive data on the client site, they must have: Australian Citizenship with existing or ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance
