Logistics Analyst
The Logistics Analyst serves as an experienced Integrated Product Support (IPS) professional responsible for planning, coordinating, analyzing, and integrating logistics activities required to support system fielding, operations, and lifecycle sustainment for Persistent Surveillance.
This position supports development and execution of logistics strategies across complex defense programs by integrating requirements between Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Support, Maintenance, Training, Technical Publications, Field Support, and customers.
The Logistics Analyst operates independently, analyzes sustainment requirements, identifies logistics risks, supports program execution, and contributes to standardized logistics processes across the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and coordinate logistics plans, processes, and sustainment strategies supporting assigned programs.
- Support Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities across functional areas, including:
• Product Support Management
• Supply Support
• Maintenance Planning & Management
• Technical Data
• Training & Training Support
• Support Equipment
• Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T)
• Facilities & Infrastructure
- Analyze program requirements, contract requirements, engineering changes, schedules, and sustainment data to identify logistics impacts.
- Coordinate logistics activities supporting:
• System fielding
• Site activation
• Customer support
• Sustainment planning
• Depot and field operations
- Support development, review, and delivery of logistics products, including:
• Logistics support plans
• Lifecycle sustainment documentation
• Logistics Product Data (LPD)
• Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) products
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Program support documentation
- Support Logistics Requirements Reviews (LRRs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), customer meetings, and program reviews.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, Provisioning, Asset Management, Maintenance Analysis, Technical Publications, Training, and Field Support teams.
- Track logistics requirements, action items, risks, and program support activities to ensure visibility and timely execution.
- Analyze sustainment challenges and recommend solutions that improve readiness, reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle affordability.
- Support development and implementation of department-level logistics processes, procedures, tools, and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience or MS degree with 2+ years of experience
Additional years of relevant logistics, military, maintenance, supply, or sustainment experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience supporting logistics, sustainment, supply chain, maintenance, operations, or product support activities.
Knowledge of DoD logistics processes, lifecycle sustainment concepts, and Integrated Product Support principles.
Ability to analyze technical documentation, program requirements, schedules, logistics data, and performance metrics.
Experience coordinating across multiple functional organizations and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple programs.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD weapon systems, air defense systems, radar systems, C5ISR, or ground systems.
- Knowledge and application of Integrated Product Support Elements.

• Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Program reviews
• Fielding operations
• Sustainment transitions
- Familiarity with:
• Product Support Analysis
• Logistics Product Data (LPD)

• Provisioning processes
- Experience developing logistics processes, metrics, dashboards, reports, or operational products.
- Prior military logistics, maintenance, sustainment, supply, or acquisition experience preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
