About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Planner/Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services that support business operations.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic procurement initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier selection, bidding, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order management.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and reliable service delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and service agreements to achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support procurement activities for both direct and indirect materials and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure procurement solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Analyze spending trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to procurement projects, process enhancements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or related functions.
  • Solid understanding of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract administration.
  • Experience with supplier evaluation, sourcing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement or ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or operational environments.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, supply planning, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Purchasing is an advantage.
