Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines Material Solutions is seeking a 24K Forecasting and Demand Planning Senior Manager. This position will lead part forecasting activities for assigned 17K/24K engine modules, ensuring accurate material requirements signal in support of MRO operational plans. The role will work closely with Engineering and cross‑functional partners to stay aligned with program priorities while contributing to broader team responsibilities, process improvements, and executive‑level communication.

A successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in data analysis tools, solid organizational and communication skills, SAP experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and leadership levels.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain accurate material forecasts for all parts within assigned 17K/24K engine modules to ensure alignment with MRO shop‑visit plans while balancing inventory objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and cross-functional partners to align forecasts with the latest program directives, engineering changes, and engine configuration updates.

  • Serve as the senior member of the 24K forecasting team with backup ownership responsibilities across additional engine modules.

  • Execute daily forecasting and part‑management activities to maintain operational readiness.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance standard work to improve forecasting processes and ensure consistency across the team.

  • Prepare and present status updates, metrics, and recommendations to executive leadership regarding forecast plans and changes.

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and performance of the GTF forecasting organization.

  • Expected travel: Less than 10% (must have or be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport).

Qualifications You Must Have: 

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 7 years of experience as listed.

  • Experience analyzing large and complex data sets and identifying trends in data for the purpose of supporting accurate materials forecast.

  • Experience using organization and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while prioritizing effectively across varying timelines.

  • SAP experience with a focus on purchasing and related document flow.

  • Aerospace aftermarket or similar industry experience in supply chain, operations, or planning.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Communication, decision‑making, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and engage with executive leadership.

  • Experience in forecasting and/or long‑term planning activities.

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.

  • Experience with P&W procurement systems and standard work.

  • Experience within the GTF aftermarket network.

  • Engineering or relevant technical background or exposure.

  • Influential leadership skills that drive business results.

  • Aerospace product knowledge (processes, manufacturing techniques, quality requirements).

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
