Project Role : Technology Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes creating and executing Requests for Change to improve system functionality and reliability. Throughout the day, there is active collaboration with vendors and service management teams to analyze issues and implement effective solutions. Additionally, updating and maintaining knowledge base articles is a key activity to enhance troubleshooting efficiency and support continuous improvement across the technology environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee the implementation of changes and updates to minimize operational disruptions.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong hands-on for atleast 5 years on Oracle Exadata.
- Experience working on Cloud - AWS RDS.
- Strong handson and experience working on OEM and scheduling/implementation of patching activities.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience in backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Familiarity with database security management and compliance standards.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot database systems to maintain high availability.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline routine database administration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) and Exadata.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
