Global Travel Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Travel Coordinator based in India.

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient business travel operations across India and selected APAC regions. You will manage high-volume travel requests end-to-end, including bookings, changes, cancellations, and real-time traveler support, while ensuring alignment with corporate travel policies. The position plays a key role in delivering a seamless employee travel experience by coordinating with internal teams, external travel vendors, and travel management partners. You will also handle shared inboxes, ticketing queues, and first-line support across multiple communication channels. This is a highly operational and service-driven role requiring strong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail. The environment is fast-paced, globally connected, and focused on delivering a frictionless travel experience for employees.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end corporate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, ensuring compliance with company travel policies.
  • Handle shared travel inboxes, helpdesk queues, and Slack-based requests while meeting defined SLAs and response standards.
  • Provide first-level traveler support, including changes, cancellations, rebookings, and real-time assistance during travel disruptions.
  • Coordinate with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and vendors to ensure smooth ticketing, seat assignments, and service delivery.
  • Assist with visa-related documentation, including invitation letters and corporate travel requirements for India and APAC regions.
  • Support expense processing and travel-related programs, including Coupa-based workflows and meal/voucher coordination.
  • Maintain accurate travel records and ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Requirements

    This role requires strong operational travel experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage high-volume requests in a structured and service-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, responsive, and comfortable working across global time zones while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

    • 2–5 years of experience in corporate travel management, travel operations, or a Travel Management Company (TMC).
    • Strong knowledge of India domestic travel processes and exposure to APAC travel coordination.
    • Experience with corporate travel and expense tools such as Egencia, Coupa, or similar platforms.
    • Familiarity with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus or Sabre) is a strong advantage.
    • Experience managing shared inboxes, ticketing systems, or chat-based support tools (e.g., Slack).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a strong customer-service mindset.
    • Ability to work flexible shifts to support global and APAC time zones when required.
