To move finished goods within the Warehouse, load trucks and serve as the front line for damage control.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
•Ensures that the forklift is in a good working condition by completing the checklist of worthiness before operating the machine.
•Reports damages or faults to the Forklift to Warehouse Manager.
•Checks the picking slip to ensure that it corresponds to the finished goods.
•Counts and records the number of pallets and storage area from where finished goods were retrieved.
•Loads finished goods onto the trucks that transport them to the off-site Warehouse or directly to Customers.
•Follows correct procedure to load the different trucks.
•Transfers finished goods to allocated space in warehouse.
•Moves product to correct allocation during change overs.
•Transfers products to bays and checks that they are allocated to correct bays
•Removes damaged boxes and repacks pallet.
•Records damages in book.
•Assists other Forklift Drivers in other areas as and when required.
•Housekeeping

Experience
•Matric
•2 Years relevant experience
•Must have a Forklift driver’s license
•Must be able to read and write
