The Role
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will support the Reporting & Analysis Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while owning key segment accounts and end-to-end processes.
You will work across Australian and US teams, providing analysis, insights and ensuring compliance, while contributing to month-end close, reconciliations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver month-end close including journals, reconciliations and reporting
Perform P&L analysis, variance reporting and cost control
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Support SOX compliance, audits and statutory reporting
Analyse payroll journals and ensure compliance
Partner with stakeholders to provide financial insights and support
Identify and implement process improvements
About You
Degree-qualified in Accounting (CPA/CA desirable)
Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis
Advanced analytical and spreadsheet skills
Experience with SAP, Oracle or Power BI preferred
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement
