Job Title: Accounts Payable Senior Vendor Master Data Analyst

Reports to: Accounts Payable Team Lead, (Vendor Master Data, Travel & Expense) (P2P)

Position Location: Budapest

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for Vendor Master Data accuracy.

Creates, and manages vendor accounts in the ERP systems.

VMD - It maintains the integrity, compliance and accuracy of Suppliers information in the ERP, including audit reporting and internal control guidelines.

Role will require frequent communication with corporate personnel and our vendors.

This role will support the Team Lead with reporting and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Vendor Master Data requests in a timely and accurate process manner, ensuring policies, procedures and SLAs are followed.
  • Manage relationships with internal business partners to ensure data requests are complete and comply with standards.
  • Leverage analytical tools to identify, research, and correct/update data discrepancies, duplicates, and stale dated records. Assist in duplicate identification and data cleansing of master data loads as part of integration activities.
  • Assist in the development of forms, procedures and work instructions. Identify data quality or process improvement opportunities.
  • Establish rapport with internal customers and other teams, build effective relationships, and share wins and successes
  • Ensures quality in customer service levels are maintained both internally and externally.
  • Mentoring and training new member of the team
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills Required:

  • Experience with SAP, E1, Oracle, Navision is a plus
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excel knowledge
  • Must be detail oriented as well as exhibit strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and customer focused with attention to detail.
  • Experience in high volume, multi entity, multi currency processing function
  • Understanding and appreciation of audit, SOX requirements & VAT rules
  • Good understanding of EMEA VAT requirements
  • Some Experience supporting & guiding teams

Education & Experience:

  • University or College degree
  • Strong prior experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services preferred in an Accounts Payable function (1-3 years of relevant working experience)
  • Need to be able to process large volumes of information efficiently.
