This role sits at the intersection of traditional assurance services and the rapidly evolving blockchain and digital assets ecosystem, offering the opportunity to work on complex, high-growth clients operating across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, custodial services, mining, and trading environments. You will lead audit execution and advisory engagements for US-based clients, ensuring high-quality delivery across multi-jurisdictional and technically complex assignments. The position combines hands-on audit leadership with client-facing responsibility, requiring strong technical accounting judgment and the ability to navigate emerging digital asset frameworks. You will also supervise junior team members, contribute to engagement planning, and play a key role in mentoring and capability building. Accountabilities:

  • Lead day-to-day execution of audit and assurance engagements across blockchain and digital asset clients.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior team members while delegating engagement tasks effectively.
  • Manage audit planning, execution, testing, and completion activities in line with professional standards.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory requirements across complex client structures.
  • Draft financial statements, audit findings, and client-facing reports with clarity and precision.
  • Communicate and resolve audit issues in collaboration with managers and engagement partners.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and trust.
  • Conduct technical research on complex accounting topics including crypto-specific transactions.
  • Support multi-jurisdictional engagements involving US tax, compliance, and cross-border considerations.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff through coaching, feedback, and training support.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
    • CPA designation preferred or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
    • 3+ years of audit or assurance experience in public accounting or similar environment.
    • Strong interest or passion for blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset ecosystems.
    • Experience with audit planning, fieldwork, testing, and preparation of audit documentation.
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and audit methodologies.
    • Familiarity with digital assets concepts such as token issuance, DeFi, staking, lending, and crypto accounting is highly desirable.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical research capabilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-facing experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and audit/financial systems tools.
